Ming Pearls:
While Japan is regarded as the place where modern pearl culturing methods were developed at the end of the 19th century, freshwater pearl culturing was first developed in ancient China from at least the Ming dynasty between 1368 and 1644.
Pearl Grading Note:
Chinese freshwater pearls have a distinct grading system that does not correlate to saltwater grading. In addition, there is no standard grading system for freshwater pearls. Nevertheless, our Ming pearls are the top grade of gem-quality freshwater pearls.

Origin of Our Pearls
All of our pearls have been sourced from pearl dealers or farms in Japan, Indonesia, China, and the UAE. We offer pearl jewelry made from the finest materials, including the highest grade pearls, all set in solid 18k gold. We design, drill, and assemble the jewelry. Necklaces are hand-tied by me. Our studio is in Northern Israel, in Haifa, where all of our products are shipped from.
